In 2025, Berthoud Fire Protection District has three (3) Board of Director seats open for election.  The election is scheduled for May 6, 2025.  As of February 28, 2025, the District received four (4) self nomination forms for the three (3) open board of director seats. 

Eligible candidates must be registered to vote in Colorado and meet one of the following criteria:

• A resident of the District; or
• The owner (or spouse/civil union partner of owner) of taxable real or personal property situated within the boundaries of the District, Spouse's Name, if property is in spouse's name; or
• A person who is obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property within the District

The election will be a mail ballot only election.  There will be no polling place.
Ballots will be mailed to eligible voters the week of April 14, 2025.

Completed ballots may be mailed back or there will be two drop off locations:

For security reasons, there will be no unmonitored freestanding drop-off locations.
