NOTICE: BEGINNING IN MAY 2023, MEETING ROOM RENTALS WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION
The Berthoud Fire Protection District Public Meeting Rooms, located at 248 Welch Avenue, are owned and operated by the Fire Department. We are dedicated to supporting the community of Berthoud by offering space to accommodate business meetings or small formal gatherings. Berthoud Fire also uses the space for training and meetings.
Currently, Volunteers of America Smiling Spoons is serving to-go lunches to Seniors on Thursdays from 11:30 am. to 1:00 pm from the meeting room annex. For more information, please visit their website at https://www.voacolorado.org/gethelp-northernco-diningservices or call 970-472-9630.
Meeting Rooms
The facility was recently remodeled and provides three separate meeting rooms along with a kitchen for rent. Rooms are rented per hour with a one hour minimum.

Note: Reservations made less than five (5) days prior to the event will be required to pay the rental fee by credit card.
Board Room
Layout: Board Room Style
Occupancy: Approximately 15 people
Rate: $35/hour plus a $150 refundable damage deposit
The Board Room is well suited for smaller group meetings and is equipped with wifi, a whiteboard, podium and TV screen, which allows the ability to project information from a laptop or smartphone. The room has a ‘board room’ style layout and cannot be reconfigured.
Ladder Room
Occupancy: Approximately 15-20 people depending on room layout
Rate: $35/hour plus a $150 refundable damage deposit
The Ladder Room is perfect for smaller groups and is equipped with wifi, a whiteboard, and a TV screen that allows the ability to project information from a laptop or smartphone.. The room provides rectangular tables and chairs that can be configured into layouts such as classroom, U-shape or conference style.
Engine Room
Occupancy: Approximately 30 people depending on room layout
Rate: $50/hour plus a $150 refundable damage deposit
The Engine Room is furnished with rectangular tables and chairs allowing for multiple room configurations. The room is equipped with wifi, a whiteboard, and a TV screen that allows the ability to project information from a laptop or smartphone.
Ladder/Engine Rooms Combined
Occupancy: 48 people
Rate: $85/hour plus a $150 refundable damage deposit
The Ladder and Engine Rooms combined offers a larger space that is well suited for meetings, conferences, and larger events. Combined it is equipped with rectangular tables and chairs, wifi, three whiteboards and two TV screens which allow the ability to project information from a laptop or smartphone.
Kitchen
Rate: $50/hour plus a $300 refundable damage deposit
The spacious commercial kitchen is available to rent along with our meeting rooms. Guests are allowed to utilize items stocked in the kitchen (ie: plates, silverware, pots, pans, etc.); however, all items must be cleaned and put away at the end of the event. The kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, a range, ice machine, coffee maker and other small appliances.
