What is the Berthoud Volunteer Firefighter Program?

  • The Berthoud Fire Protection District is looking for qualified men and women to make a difference in peoples lives everyday by joining the Volunteer Firefighter Program.
  • Volunteer Firefighters do more than just put out fires.  They respond to calls for emergency medical services and provide education to members of the community.
  • Being a Volunteer Firefighter can be an extremely gratifying and exciting way to serve and become involved in your community.

We provide the necessary training in the areas of:

  • Firefighting/Rescue
  • Driving and emergency vehicle operation
  • Motor vehicle extrication
  • Emergency Medical Services

The Berthoud Fire Protection District is committed to excellence in providing emergency fire, rescue and medical services and providing quality fire prevention and public education to the citizens of the District by means of innovative and cost effective measures.
