The Berthoud Fire Protection District is accepting applications for two “Temporary Full Time” firefighter position. The District is seeking individuals with one (1) year minimum experience working in a combination department. The minimum certifications for this position are:
Firefighter I / State of Colorado / IFSAC
Haz Mat Awareness / State of Colorado
Emergency Medical Technician – Basic / State of Colorado / National Registry
NWCG 130/190 preferred
Note: The candidate must successfully complete NWCG 130 / 190 and an arduous pack test within 12 months of date of hire.

District firefighters work a “Modified Berkeley” / 3 – 4 work schedule
Pay Rate $10.00 hourly. No other benefits are associated with this position other than those required by law and 96 hours PTO annually.
